We understand the growing concerns over the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and the effect it is having on the community.
The health and wellbeing of our students, coaches and staff is our highest priority in this complex and constantly changing environment.
We continue to daily monitor and adhere to the advice provided by government organisations, NSW Department of Education, public health units and the World Health Organisation, all of whom are providing accurate, timely and detailed updates relevant to the sporting, arts and wider community.
Current advice (as of Sunday 15 March 5pm) is that NSW schools will remain open. Until a decision is made otherwise, Spaghetti Circus will continue to operate. If and when there is a decision made to close NSW schools, Spaghetti will follow suit and will notify you via email, text and social media of our closure.
Due to the restrictions on large gatherings (over 500 people) where necessary we are re-scheduling or cancelling shows, performances and tours.
During circus classes, the following steps are being taken:
In line with current advice:
Any children or staff who feel unwell in any way should refrain from attending school or circus classes.
As of Monday 16 March, all international travellers arriving into Australia must self-isolate for 14 days after arrival.
Any family or student who chooses to self-isolate is supported in this decision by coaches, meanwhile we are working on online options to keep everyone moving and healthily while at home.
Gymnastic NSW have developed the following A3 Fact Sheet. As new information arises the sheet will be updated.
Our focus at Spaghetti Circus is creative kids and strong communities, look after each other and your kids. Please let us know if you have feedback, concerns, suggestions or need assistance in any way.
