Newsletter for the start of term 4

Hello all, this is sue from the throws of spaghetti headquarters ready for a whole new term. This is the time of year when we have to again pretend that we are really an agricultural shed for the first week in November when we all turn into little farmers. Which means we get everything out of the shed, and, of course all of the equipment too. So don’t be shy to offer help on Saturday 3rd November time 4 o'clock, and to move it all back in again 4o'clock Sunday 11th nov.
Our new green  shed is sporting exit signs and emergency exit doors in red for a cool 11 thousand dollars we are able to  get the kidz out safely when the corrugated shed goes up in flames.

Now we have our new green shed where we will hopefully be able to conduct secret spaghetti business. Leonie and self may be caught masquerading as horse back riders and horses during the show, as the real ones are out with the flu. Spaghetti will be having a circus café tent where there will be entertainment and refreshments at all hours for the general population. Coffee and drinks will be there, and I have heard that the kids and quite a few people will be gracing us with a display of their skills as well! Entertainment and sustenance - the things that life is made of! Of course here is the opening for many and varied skill share moments. There is an opportunity for all at this years 100th Ag show at the Mullumbimby showground. See you all there? Forgot to mention that there will be a big plug to give us cake and curry to sell.

The Sports show finished its tour with a most successful Byron season which was a joy to see. They will be taking the show and workshops to schools during this term.  It is good to see that spaghetti is getting back out into our local schools. I was recently at casino doing circus skills and the catholic school was most accommodating to the bearded woman - it’s a liberating experience for circus to visit your school once in a moment.

The advanced show was in the green shed and that was fabulous to see.
We had the official opening of the green shed on 7th September where we had  wine and entertainment - extracts from the sports show by the performance group were a titillation.
There was a presentation to ms mills for starting up the whole spaghetti phenomena. Also to Mr. Rik and Petrina for their foreign adventures to procure us a German wheel. An endeavor including much hilarity, at least if you were not the one negotiating public transport in foreign lands because your evicted for a german wheel space in the hire car!

Adults welcome Melinda and Deryn on board as coaches - which should free up Leonie and sue to get excited to do some adult intensives. It is grand to see a new crowd of circus devotees coming along, it seems a time demanding pleasure but its has me hooked

Noodles most successful teddy bear picnic raised a cool 1250 dollars towards some new gear for the littlest of ones. Was good to see our mighty ones and twos strutting their stuff as well as a maiden performance of Nikki and Shien, our lovely noodle coaches with some noodle mums and offspring's, including one brave toddler barley 2 who did show time Miss Mia. So good to get them up there under lights, even if they are not old enough for class yet.
Raffle winners from the raffle were: the kayak ride down the river won by Bernie Thompson. Byron Bay cookies went to Oscar. Jenna Kenny got the sushi from The Sushi Walla. G. Brooke got to kiva Spa. Lois Genis came in today and picked up her Gremlin prize. Jason got the Red Truck. B. Jarvis has now products from Sanctum and Isis won the Teddy bear. Much thanks go to our lovely local sponsors.
Nikki was delighted with the new gear which arrived this week and there is more to come which will brighten up the noodle corner considerably.

The Community show  will be again on this term on the 14th and 15th of December, which makes me panic for my mob to get a skill act together. But there is time and we look forward to the pinnacle of the community class year

Grafton Arts Fest
- Leonie went off to Grafton to deliver her spaghetti majic for the Arts Fest during our last term break. She is presently in Thailand for 3 weeks.

The Mullumbimby Christian  school and the Shearwater year 5 class did term 2 and 3 here and produced a fine display for their time spent here. A small photo of the Christian school which sunita emailed, a first for me in my learning the computer world.
