Now and Zen
10th September 2005 - 19th September 2005
Review:Complete with breathtaking visuals and stunning special effects, THE SPAGHETTI CIRCUS' new and exciting production NOW & ZEN promises to be their most spectacular show ever.
The fascinating culture of Japan is brought to life through bizarre and beautiful acts of physical theatre. The extraordinary tricks performed both on the ground and in the air, are interlaced with side splitting comedy from Australia's own, outrageous, "Murrumbimby Shock Boys."
Based on a Japanese theme the show promises to take you on the sushi train ride of your life through traditional and contemporary aspects of this fascinating culture.

The Story so Far……
The Sports show was a great success with over 750 attendee’s so far and was proudly supported by Arts NSW and Connect Ed.
The program toured theatres at the end of term four visiting Mullumbimby, Lismore and Byron Bay. All who attended were very enthusiastic and gave there praise of both the skill of the youth performance troupe and the shows narrative blend of circus and theatre.
The youth performers were Chloe Robinson, Rhiannon Walker, Willow Darling, Jasmine McLachlan, Freja Ingemar-Holland, Bryony Walters, Rose Jones, Emily-Mae Rahmate, Peter Freeman, Ezra Gillard, Flynn Cowan, Lachlan Richards and Isaac Dutton.
The Performers were outstanding in their delivery of skill and it was great to see them take on the challenge of character and theatrical content .
In term four the program extends into schools as part of the connected Ed program . This initiative is to provide regional areas with access to performance and circus skilled workshops. We hope this will be the first of many such programs increasing health, physical skills, fun and inspiration to the youth of our region. Our first school on the calendar was Murwillumbah High, the performance went well and the workshop was fantastic. All the youth participants involved were surveyed, it was noted that they loved the show and were excited about the opportunity of more circus workshops . The members of the youth performance troupe also helped facilitate the workshops, this supports the youth to help inspire other youth and also hone their teaching skills in the process, this is a fantastic outcome of the project .
