‘The Borogoves’ was a large scale, site specific work-in-progress produced by the Spaghetti Circus for the 2015 Mullumbimby Circus Festival. The show featured the many talents and skills of over 40 Spaghetti Circus emerging and professional artists in collaboration with a host of regional professional artists, designers and makers.
Based on the Lewis Carroll nonsense poem, ‘The Jabberwocky’, ‘The Borogroves’ re-imagined the first two verses of the poem as series of interactions between three very different tribes who inhabit the trees of the Mullumbimby Showgrounds.
The show was a huge success with over 400 people enjoying the show as one of the highlights of the festival.
‘The Borogroves’ was supported by the NSW Government through Arts NSW Regional Theatre projects funding.
